Tapestry Crochet Cosmetic Bag Patterns

When I started to design the pattern for the "Make up" pouch all I knew was that I wanted a bag that would measure between 18 to 20 cm W with a 3mm crochet hook. My first question was "How am I going to design the letters? How am I going to determine the number of stitches for each letters for the word to fit this specific size?"  I looked online for patterns of letters for cross stitch projects and I found quite a few but none that would meet my needs. So I use those patterns as a starting point and I had to adapt them. Once I managed to figure it out and made the pouch, I was so in love with it that I thought why not do more cosmetic pouches with different words now that I know how to design the letters? That's how this collection was born. I made 4 pouches so far and I'm intending to do some more in the future. I just miss doing my 6 colour tapestry crochet clutches!

To know more and see more details about each of the pouches, just click the titles below.
