For this third cosmetic bag made for the "WRITINGS" collection I chose the word "lipstick". After the "Make Up" and the "Beauty Stuff" designs I decided to go with some more specific words of the cosmetic world and "lipstick" seemed to be the perfect one.
To give it a even more girly vibe I thought that a pink tone like fuschia would be ideal. Plus, it would really pop with the black and white colours creating a beautiful combo! Always with katia Mississippi 3 cotton yarn that I love :)
As always, no lining and a simple black zipper. I don't get tired of saying that one of the things that made me fall in love with tapestry crochet, beside of the endless designs possibilities, is that the "wrong" side of the crochet is as pretty as the "right" side. Plus, since the stitches are crocheted so tight, there is no need for lining it. That way you can really enjoy the inside everytime you open the pouch! :) But it's just my personal opinion. I like to keep it simple :)
The pouch is approximately 13 cm/5,1 inches H and 19,5 cm/7,7 inches W. It's a size that allows to carry a pretty satisfactory amount of make up and at the same time can easily fit in your daily purse so you can take it with you everywhere.
